Ben & Jerry’s founders serve ‘Bernie’s Yearning’ ice cream to Sanders supporters in Manhattan

It was fire and ice Thursday as Bernie Sanders supporters flocked to Union Square to feel the Bern — and get a taste of “Bernie’s Yearning” ice cream while they were at it.
For one hour, Sanders fans got the chance to savor the politically pleasing dessert served by Ben & Jerry’s founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield.
