(July 3, 2016 6:00 p.m.) — Some progressives want Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont on the Democratic presidential ticket and won’t be fully satisfied with anyone else as Hillary Clinton’s No. 2 — not even fellow anti-Wall Street crusader and liberal firebrand Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Ms. Warren has emerged as a top contender to be Mrs. Clinton’s running mate, but data show that picking the senator from Massachusetts won’t necessarily lead liberals to coalesce around Mrs. Clinton and would have little impact on independent and moderate voters.

(June 17, 2016 9:18 a.m.) — Everyone seems to know the Democratic race is over, except Bernie Sanders. The primary results are in, and the splenetic revolutionary was soundly defeated by Hillary Clinton. Yet Sanders is still fighting on, quickly burning his once substantial political capital, as the Democratic Party turns its attention to Donald Trump, a raving lunatic. Despite the terrifying prospect of a Trump presidency, he vowed again on Thursday night that he would bring his Future You Can Believe In to the convention and beyond.

“Election days come and go. But political and social revolutions that attempt to transform our society never end,” the Vermont senator told his supporters in a live video message. “They continue every day, every week, and every month in the fight to create a nation and world of social and economic justice. . . . That’s what this campaign has been about over the past year. That’s what the political revolution is about and that’s why the political revolution must continue into the future.”

(June 12, 2016 19:55) — NORTHAMPTON — Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, known as a longtime progressive, has recently made some on the left question her integrity after a controversial decision to endorse Hillary Clinton as the democratic presidential nominee.

Warren, who gave a talk on Sunday addressing income inequality at the WWII Club in Northampton, was greeted by legions of adoring fans, but also a small crowd of protesters who said they were deeply disenchanted with Warren’s endorsement.

(Mar. 31, 2016 18:00) — Stephen Colbert pushes Elizabeth Warren to choose between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton

Elizabeth Warren visited The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday to promote the new edition of her book, A Fighting Chance. During the interview, host Stephen Colbert asked the popular Democratic senator why she’s refused to endorse either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton, and her thoughts on Donald Trump.

The comedian first asked Warren if she was surprised by the success that Sanders has had against Clinton. She responded that she feels that both candidates have done a good job of making the case that Washington isn’t working for most people. Colbert continued to push her on which candidate’s approach is more appealing to her, asking whether she’s on board with Sander’s revolution or Clinton’s “slow and steady” strategy.

QUINCY (Mar. 25, 2016 08:51) – U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren waded deeper into the presidential primary debate Thursday, sharpening her criticism of Donald Trump and cheering on Bernie Sanders.

The Massachusetts Democrat described the Republican presidential front-runner as a failed businessman who inherited a fortune from his father and then maintained it “by cheating people, by defrauding people, and by skipping out on paying his creditors through Chapter 11” bankruptcy protection.

The Massachusetts Senator called Trump “a real threat to this country” on Thursday and said, “it’s time to fight back against that threat.”

(Mar. 23, 2016) — What Arthur Balfour once said of a young Winston Churchill is also true of Senator Elizabeth Warren.

“The right honorable gentleman’s artillery is very powerful but not very mobile,” Balfour said, taunting the eloquent speechifier about his inability to think on his feet.

We’ve seen the same from Warren recently. First, the power: Our senior senator delivered a blistering takedown of GOP front-runner Donald Trump earlier this week, blowing holes in his supposed business acumen, calling him out for his “petty bullying, attacks on women, cheap racism, and flagrant narcissism,” and his “embarrassing insecurities.”

Elizabeth Warren’s Social Contract: ‘There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own’

20110922_1200 Elizabeth Warren on The Myth of Class Warfare (addMoreJuice)(YT).jpg (Feb. 18, 2016 21:45 ET) Since Bernie Sanders’ rise in the polls after putting up tough competition in Iowa and in New Hampshire against the purported “inevitable” contender Hillary Clinton, there has been a lot of talk about who Sanders’ running mate may be.

Many have contemplated Sen. Elizabeth Warren as an ideal candidate who has sported parallel stances on issues the Sanders campaign has been touting during his campaign.

Only speculation can be derived as to why Warren has not outwardly “endorsed” Sanders.

Perhaps she is allowing her supporters to make up their own minds and determinations by looking at her stances on the issues, and not who she may be endorsing for the presidency.

The impassioned Warren, while campaigning in August 2011, made some impacting remarks captured on video and then subsequently posted on YouTube the following month in September.

One of Warren’s most resonating quotes from that Andover, Mass., meeting, “There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody,” has left a favorable impression with her supporters.

You can watch the 2-minute video and read a transcript of that meeting below.

Transcript:

From 00:55:
There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own.
Nobody.
You built a factory out there – good for you.
But I want to be clear.
You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for.
You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate.
You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for.
You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory,
and hire someone to protect against this because of the work the rest of us did.
Now look. You built a factory and it turned into something terrific or a great idea.
God Bless!
Keep a hunk of it.
But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.

Elizabeth Warren, August 2011
