The idea and concept behind the Public Skeleton is two fold.
The Public Skeleton symbolizes a philosophy, or way of thinking, that seeks to approach the issues and challenges facing the world today in a manner which reduces these issues down to their “Bare Bones” elements removing any confusing layers of fat clouded by politics, inequality and injustice.
The Public Skeleton also symbolizes an actual physical state of being. Where many of us in today’s 99% vs 1% society find ourselves being reduced down to mere skeletons, stripped of the meat of our humanity, basic needs, and dignity. So instead of fully contributing as whole “public citizens”, we instead operate in less effective means as “public skeletons” under “Bare Bones” conditions limiting the ways we can fully contribute to our society, government and lives.
