(Aug. 16, 2016 3:29 p.m.) — After the DNC WikiLeaks emails, The Nation’s Joshua Holland acknowledged the DNC “came to loathe Sanders’s campaign,” however “there’s no evidence that they rigged the primaries.” Nothing exemplifies the amnesia of Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s various claims of impartiality, or the relevance of such neutrality to the Democratic process, better than Holland’s sentiment.

The facts show that the Democratic Primary was rigged against Bernie Sanders from the start, despite numerous promises from the DNC to remain impartial.

This is pertinent because DNC officials are required to remain unbiased to all candidates during the primary season.

(July 22, 2016, 9:00 p.m.) — In June a hacker who goes by the name Guccifer 2.0 — a different hacker than the original Guccifer — released some emails alleging collusion between the DNC and mainstream media to suppress the Bernie Sanders campaign. In June, the Inquisitr reported that Julian Assange promised a forthcoming document dump while releasing a “torrent insurance” file.

On Friday, MotherBoard reported that the hacker confirmed responsibility for a 20,000-email Wikileaks dump of DNC files, many of which clearly illustrate how the DNC attempted to mute the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Sanders Files Permit Request for Huge Rally on Eve of Democratic Convention

(July 6, 2016 6:00 p.m.) — Bernie Sanders’ next signature rally may take place in Philadelphia—the night before the Democratic National Convention.

The Vermont senator’s campaign has applied for a permit to hold an event that will reportedly host between 15,000 to 40,000 people on July 24 at Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park. It is one of 10 such pro-Sanders events requesting permission from the Philadelphia mayor’s office, the Burlington Free Press reports.

Sanders spokesperson Michael Briggs said last month that the senator was planning to deliver a “victory statement” in Philadelphia, but said on Wednesday that plans for the rally are still being finalized

More Than 100 Bernie Sanders Donors Sue Debbie Wasserman Schultz for Fraud

(June 29, 2016 1:04 p.m.) — Amid allegations that Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz “rigged” the Democratic presidential primary in favor of Hillary Clinton, 120 people, including 104 Bernie Sanders donors, sued both Wasserman Schultz and the DNC in the Southern District Court of Florida yesterday for fraud, negligence, misrepresentation, and other claims. They alleged she misled the DNC and Sanders donors into thinking she was “impartial.”

The suit comes after a group of Russian hackers published emails they claim show the DNC had, since May 2015, been planning strategies to help Hillary Clinton defeat Donald Trump in the general election.

DNC Convention Costs Leaving Young and Poor Delegates Out in the Cold

(June 25, 2016 8:00 p.m.) — The exorbitant costs of attending the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia on July 25-28 this year, is threatening to leave some delegates out in the cold.
The DNC strongly requires delegates to stay at an appointed hotel, and costs for a room start at $569 per night, plus tax and fees, with the hotel requiring a five night minimum, putting base costs for attending the convention in the thousands, effectively shutting out anyone below a certain income bracket.
